Chuck Corcoran, CEO
After graduating from the University of Maryland, Chuck’s passion for food and fine entertainment prompted him to launch Corcoran Caterers in 1984. When he’s not ensuring that each and every one of our events is executed to perfection, Chuck can be found on the golf course or attending a Maryland basketball game.
Martha is lucky enough to be married to the guy on the left. She also went to the University of Maryland and really likes turtles…and her fat black lab Rocky. When not answering to her many loyal clients you can find her on the soccer field.
Buddy Abello, Treasurer
Always looking dapper in a Ralph Lauren dress shirt or suit and tie, Bud handles his many office duties with as much polish as his attire. We don’t think he owns a pair of sweatpants. He goes home everyday to a beautiful wife and 2 toddler boys and is known to end the day with a scotch on the rocks.
Nick Dias, Director of Operations
Self-proclaimed OCD, Nick ensures that every detail of every event is flawless. When not obsessing over details, Nick can be found with his wife and two sons in Church where he plays the keyboard and sings in the choir.
Rogy, Executive Chef
This is the man you can thank for whipping up all of the deliciousness that goes out the door every day. When not in the kitchen making our mouths water, Rogy can be found either at home with his daughters or hitting the gym.
Brian, Executive Pastry Chef
We have a sort of love/hate relationship with Brian. We love the treats he makes but hate the pounds they add to our waistlines. Ok, just kidding, we love him. When not testing our abilities to fight temptation Brian is usually with his newlywed wife exploring DC.
Sue Pavlinksi, Senior Event Planner
Sue is our wedding expert. She has helped countless couples plan their perfect day. When she’s not making dreams come true, Sue is most likely Skyping with her daughter and two granddaughters.
Leslie Grimes, Senior Event Planner
Leslie is kind of like the definition of energy. Which is good when you work in an industry that involves piecing a lot of details together. When not running around at work Leslie can be found running around with her two daughters and husband making “superfood” meals to keep those enthusiasm levels up and running.
Laura Hennigan, Senior Event Planner
Laura is a trained Chef who traded life in the kitchen for wedding and corporate event planning. After Corcoran catered her own wedding in 2011 she enjoyed the experience so much she decided she wanted to recreate that for other couples! Laura loves being creative and putting together customized or themed menus for clients. When not at work she’s enjoying life in DC with her husband.
Maryana Tsivka, Event Planner
With several years in the catering and service industry, Maryana brings a positive and fresh force to our sales team. When she’s not spreading her positive energy throughout the office, Maryana can be found hitting the slopes, hiking, or traveling.
Adriana Gamez, Event Booking Manager
Adriana somehow manages all of the event staff for our events. When not glued to her cellphone, Adriana can be found with her husband and daughter.
