[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][text_output]Liz and Jim’s wedding at Woodend Nature Sanctuary this past May was fun and relaxed, yet beautiful and elegant in it’s own magical way. The couple opted for a brunch wedding, featuring a bloody mary and mimosa bar, a “Shot Glass Biscuit” buffet station, a Waffle Station, and a family style served meal.
Her dad makes biscuits and his dad makes maple syrup, so the couple thought a brunch wedding would be a perfect way to blend the two families and friends together.[/text_output][image type=”none” float=”none” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” src=”7936″ alt=”Bride and her Bridesmaids”][image type=”none” float=”none” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” src=”7939″ alt=”Groom and his Groomsmen”][block_grid type=”three-up”][block_grid_item]

In the yard outside the tent, the couple provided games of cornhole with American flag beanbags and Jenga. What’s even sweeter for couples planning their wedding is that many venues in the DC, MD, VA area offer discounted rates for daytime slots. These discounted rates are often times as much as half the rate of an evening wedding![/text_output][image type=”none” float=”none” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” src=”7974″ alt=”Naked Wedding Cake & Pastel Macaroons”][text_output]The best part about brunch weddings in particular? They end in CAKE! We love the rustic look of this “naked” wedding cake.[/text_output][block_grid type=”three-up”][block_grid_item]
